If you are venturing into a project like the undertaking of a new home, addition or a remodel, it is important to find the right General Contractor.  An average builder will not do.

If you choose to hire an architect, choose an AIA architect.  Choose a builder that is compatible with the architect, as there are changes in the field, and both architect and builder need to be on the same page, if there are any change orders, structural inconsistencies, let's face it, changes happen.

Documentation


You should get copies of your General Contractors license, bond, workers' compensation insurance and general aggregate liability insurance.  Upon signing the contract, you will also receive a copy of your Homeowners' Rights.  The CSLB website have a weath of information to downloand for your reference.

 

Once you sign with us, you will realize that you made the right choice and your project will come to fruition right before you eyes.

Home Inspections


Due to the surplus of homes on the market, H. F. Schwartz Builders has found a niche in providing home inspections.  By knowing the codes and acceptable building methods, Henry is a top inspector for buyers looking to purchase an existing home.  Whether a primary residence or an investment, we provide our clients with a detailed report and photos, so that they can make an educated decision on whether or not to purchase an existing home. 


Many homes on the market today were built during the housing boom and were constructed in a manner of such, so buyer beware of a money pit.  A great price on a house could cost you dearly in the future.  Nevertheless, there are bargains out there ready to be had by the right buyer.  Our inspections are reasonably priced and that is an initial investment that will provide you the insurance you need to make your decision.
